Pokemon Typing Changes
Farfetch’d: Normal/Flying → Fighting/Flying
Seadra: Water → Water/Dragon

Evolution Changes
Trade evolutions and impossible evolution have been given a new evolution condition; evolving while knowing a certain move. Each of these moves are learned naturally and are also easily accessible as a Technical Machine. Pikachu, Exeggcute and Cubone can evolve into their Alolan Form variants by using an Ice Stone - a native product of Alola.
Pikachu to Alolan Raichu → Ice Stone
Kadabra to Alakazam → Trade OR Level up while knowing Psychic
Machoke to Machamp → Trade OR Level up while knowing Superpower
Graveler to Golem → Trade OR Level up while knowing Rock Slide
Alolan Graveler to Alolan Golem → Trade OR Level up while knowing Rock Slide
Haunter to Gengar → Trade OR Level up while knowing Shadow Ball
Exeggcute to Alolan Exeggutor → Ice Stone
Cubone to Alolan Marowak → Ice Stone
Meltan to Melmetal → Level up while knowing Flash Cannon

Trade Changes
Some Alolan Form trades have been altered, as to allow all Alola Forms as trades with the exception of Raichu, Exeggutor and Marowak. Meltan can also be obtained as a trade at the Indigo Plateau.
Alolan Sandshrew (Celadon City) → Alolan Vulpix (Kanto Vulpix)
Alolan Raichu (Saffron City) → Alolan Sandshrew (Kanto Sandshrew)
Alolan Marowak (Fuchsia City) → Alolan Grimer (Kanto Grimer)
Alolan Grimer (Cinnabar Island) → Alolan Meowth (Kanto Meowth)
Alolan Exeggutor (Indigo Plateau) → Meltan (Ditto)

NOTE: When using PKHeX with these moves, you should enter the old name. For example: If you want Night Slash, enter Rolling Kick. Also note that they will have their original PP value until you heal at a Pokemon Center.

NOTE: There is a small unfixable bug where damaging moves that were previously status moves or 2-turn charging moves will not show the HP bar decreasing. Certain moves that were single target but changed to multiple targets - such as Struggle Bug (formerly Constrict) - will only show the animation on one opposing Pokemon in double battles. In addition, Twister (formerly Whirlwind) will remove the opposing Pokemon’s model until they make a move or faint.

Learnset Changes
Level-up learnsets and TM compatibility for all Pokemon have been updated. The new level-up movepools generally combine SWSH, BDSP and LGPE level-up moves and egg moves with the newly re-added moves and select TMs. All learnsets can be found in the learnsets txt file.

Wild Encounter Changes
Wild encounters have been completely re-done for all areas, and can be found in the wild changes txt file. Rare spawns and sky encounters have not been changed and will not be listed.

Static Encounter Changes
The relearn moves for static encounters have been updated to reflect their new learnsets at their current level. Some additional changes have also been made:
Snorlax: Level 34 → Level 40
Mewtwo: +1 Boosted Stats → +2 Boosted Stats

Trainer Changes
All trainer battles (including Master Trainers) have been updated to reflect the new learnsets. While this is not a difficulty hack, many teams have been updated to provide a more balanced experience. The important trainer battles are listed in the trainer battles txt file.

NOTE: As the levels have been adjusted, it is heavily recommended that you follow the route order listed below when progressing through the middle section (badges 4-6) of the game:
Rock Tunnel → Pokemon Tower → Route 12 (North) → Route 8 → Route 7 → Celadon City Gym → Rocket Hideout → Pokemon Tower (7F) → Fighting Dojo → Silph Co. → Route 12 (South) → Route 13 → Route 14 → Route 15 → Route 16 → Route 17 → Route 18 → Fuchsia City Gym → Saffron City Gym

Item Location Changes
TM60 (Megahorn) is now received after beating your rival on Route 22 after 8 Badges.
All mega stones (except the Kanto starters) are available by beating the non-coach trainers in Victory Road.

Text Changes
Professor Oak now states “Welcome to Pokémon Let’s Go: Peerless Pikachu and Exquisite Eevee!” in the opening demo.
The “You used a Potion!” text string that would still say “You” when an opponent used an item, now correctly says the name of the opposing trainer (i.e. “Brock used a Potion!”). For the player character, it will also say the name of the character instead of “You”.

Script Changes
Main_Event_8030 (Erika) changed to say Giga Drain as TM53.
Field_Trade (7-13, Sandshrew/Vulpix) changed to explicitly say Vulpix.
Field_Trade (21-27, Grimer/Meowth) changed to explicitly say Meowth.
Field_Trade (28-34, Raichu) changed to say Sandshrew.
Field_Trade (35-41, Marowak) changed to say Grimer.
Field_Trade (42-48, Exeggutor) changed to say Meltan and Ditto with revised dialogue.
